Sean Desjardins - Owner/Head Coach

So this is probably the most awkward part of the website for me. Talking about myself is easily among my top 3 least favourite things to do. It’s up there with watching one of the awful Hallmark Christmas movies.

My coaching journey is not normal. If someone were to write a book about how to become a fitness professional, I highly doubt they would recommend joining the military and getting a degree in computer science. But I did that. And hated both.
I’ve always known that I wanted to leave an impact. I thought the military would offer me that. For me, it very much did not.

Instead, I found fitness and coaching. And I went all in. Like totally all in. If I wasn’t coaching a group class, I would be coaching basketball. In my “spare” time I would invest and learn about coaching.

Here’s what I know now:

  • Fitness is way too damn confusing. There is so much this or that. So much information. So little of it is knowledgeable. It doesn’t need to be confusing. It can be made simple for YOU. I am here to take a deep dive into the pond of bullshit information. I’ll come out with an appropriate solution for you.

  • Fitness is way too exclusive. Bro Culture needs to stop. Fitness needs no gender. Fat shaming is pathetic. Everyone should feel included when they walk into a gym.

  • Limitations suck. Group classes are not designed to address your specific needs and limitations. Maybe you experience pain in your daily life that limits the things you want to do. Maybe you want to be able to do a certain movement but you are limited by strength or skill. When you put in the work you deserve a path towards those results. You deserve a plan that is specific to you to help you achieve your goals. I am here to help with that.
